Gene Horner, Jr., President of Horner Insurance Services, Inc. (HIS) announced Scottsdale Insurance Company has contracted with HIS to distribute its commercial trucking insurance products underwritten by National Casualty Company in the states of Arkansas and Tennessee. Mr. Horner said “Scottsdale’s appetite to write preferred accounts at preferred prices increases the number of competitive markets available to our producing agents.” He adds, “Long known for its commitment to the General Agency distribution system, Scottsdale is delivering this product through a limited number of general agency partners around the country and we are very fortunate and pleased to be one of them.

Horner Insurance Services, Inc. (HIS) has announced that Great American Insurance Company recently contracted with HIS to distribute their motor truck cargo products in the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas. Gene Horner, Jr. said, “The addition of a specialized product from Great American enhances the number of competitive markets available to our producing agents. He adds “Great American’s strong appetite to write most types of cargo is augmented by the extensions of coverage available for most risks.”

Horner Insurance Services, Inc. (HIS) announced that Berkshire Hathaway Homestate Company (a member of the Berkshire Hathaway Group) has contracted with HIS to distribute their worker’s compensation products in the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee. Gene Horner, Jr. said, “The addition of a worker’s compensation product from BHHC enhances the number of product offerings available to our producing agents while increasing our portfolio of markets. This adds a significant competitive edge for coverage offerings to our customers.” He adds, “This new market not only extends our product availability, but it complements our mission to be indispensable partners.”

Horner Insurance Services, Inc. (HIS) has announced that Canal Insurance Group has expanded HIS’s fleet authority to include Alabama and Georgia. A fleet is defined as accounts with eleven (11) or more power units. Gene Horner, Jr, (President), stated “The expansion of our fleet authority with Canal now enables us provide retail agents with increased opportunities to write fleet accounts in 10 states.”
